...is someone who really should be given a lifetime achievement award of moronity: President of the Catholic League, Bill Donohue. Today he wins idiotic accolades for calling for 'The Golden Compass' to be banned. Abuse is due not necessarily for the wish behind his demand, that's fair enough- the books are a very thinly veiled yet extremely articulate and relevant attack on organised religion- but his true idiocy comes out in the way he calls for the film to be banned.
It's that old zealot classic: 'I haven't actually seen the film, but...'
