Woh the gigs are coming thick and fast over the next couple of month and May in particular is shaping up to be packed to the gills. Their style has been compared to a mixture of Tom Waits, Frank Zappa, and Captain Beefheart. Man Man is known for their distinctive live shows where the members of the band dress in white tennis outfits and don war paint. How did I not find this blog before you found me? I'm liking it loads, even if this post has just depressed me. My first gig of 2008 will be in March...do not move to Rome if you like live music.
He forgot to mention Smashing Pumpkins tomorrow. Oh well.
Pissed that I;m going to be missing the Battles/Liars gig now that Rednecks are added (although i was pissed before too) but I'll be sunning it in the South of France so fuck it.
sorry think of it though all theses gigs and no money have to pick bands over each other its heartbreaking. although no gigs would suck too.
