The shining beacon of indie light that is mp3hugger has just one-upped itself by compiling and releasing a compilation of underground music that's just too damned good to remain underground.
Featuring excellent (and all exclusive) material by Beaten Awake, The E.L.F. and Michael Knight, the compilation entitled The Indiecater is available now online for the ridiculously good price of €4.50. Click here to buy (I highly recommend doing so, and imagine that many of these acts will not be 'indie' for long).
Personal favorites of mine are the tracks by Slushco & Foreign Slippers, the former being an upbeat, summery, piano-led gem; the latter a sublimely stated folk number. Rest assured both artists will be investigated further.
