Musical Geneology

I've (after several hours of pondering) completed Nialler's Musical Geneology chart. Give it a shot yourself if you really don't want to be working on a Monday.

The idea is to pick your favorite album from each year you've been alive, attempting to combine what you were listening to at the time and your thoughts now. Believe me, it aint so easy.

Here's mine anyways- the early years are going to have to be judged retrospectively, as my listening habits were pretty much exclusively The King of Pop, some Van Morisson (thanks, Dad) and a dash of the Beatles (until my older stepped in with Bon Jovi).

Conclusions: Many good artists/albums were discovered after the fact. Also, lots of great albums have a tendency to come out in the same years, making a list like this very difficult to compile. Fun though, and much better than actually doing any work on a Monday...
