Isaac Hayes dies at 65

Isaac Hayes died yesterday 10 days from his 66th birthday of what appears to be a simultaneous Heart-Attack and Stroke. Most famous for his theme tune to the movie Shaft he earned fame in recent years for doing the voice of Chef in South Park.

Unfortunately some peoples last memories of the man will be the bitter row he had with Matt Stone and Trey Parker over the depiction of his "Religion" in one of the best episodes of the show. The fact that a) he voiced Chef in many episodes that poked fun at all different types of religions and had no problem with it and b) his religion happens to be Scientology which isn't actually a religion at all but is in fact a cult for stupid people makes me very unsympathetic to his cause.

His death however is untimely and regrettable as he was a great musician. In case you need to be reminded of the mighty theme to Shaft check it out in the read more.

You're right. I retract my statements about how his death was untimely and how he was a great musician.
