In fact Maps & Atlases are a pretty standard example of Chicago indie rock. They even use vibraphones. If Tortoise, Sea & Cake, and Unique Chique are your thing I am absolutely positive that you’ll appreciate Maps & Atlases.

Maps & Atlases are standard , sorry but wouldn't agree , i think there 2006 album Tree, Swallows, Houses and this years EP You & Me & The Mountain are well well above standard.
you me and the mountain is one of the years best, love their drummer.
