The Smashing Pumpkins have recorded and released a new track specifically for the new Guitar Hero game, and here's the video for it (don't worry, it doesn't involve Billy & Co sitting around and playing Xbox).
Is this the miraculous solution to the current music industry crisis? Releasing things exclusively through video games? If so, I will be very disappointed (though strangely not too surprised).

Air Guitar Hero!!!
For all those unaccustomed with Guitar Hero at this stage then you are missing out on one of the funnest, most addictive and undoubtedly sad pastimes of the last few years. But for all of you are already ensconsed in this phenomenon have a look at the link below to see the technology taken one step further. It is a sad day for anybody who thinks they're too cool for Guitar Hero and a happy one for anybody who has been sucked up and has turned into, as South Park put it, a FAG!!!
