I pride myself on being more computer literate than most household pets, but when i hit a brick wall it can be quite intimidating. My pro-tools hasn't been working for a few weeks, and i've been instructed to run all sorts of updaters and pre-script binders or something.

I have no idea what these things are. What am i doing to my computer??
