'The 100 Wittiest Britons of All Time' were announced today via the results of a poll conducted by 'Dave TV', a new digital channel.
The results may come as a surprise to anyone to anyone familiar with the definition of the term 'Briton'.
Occupying the top two positions were:
1. Oscar Wilde, and 2. Spike Milligan.
Witty? Yes. Britons? No.
