Anakin Skywalker redeems himself

For all those you who think that Return of the Jedi was the moment when Darth Vader came back from the dark side and redeemed himself for all previous sins by killing the emperor just remember that not all sins can be washed away in one movie because quite simply: Hayden Christensen wasn't in Return of the Jedi.

So while he has a long way to go before he can atone for one movie of bloody godawful acting and another of...well not quite as bad as the previous one but still quite bad acting, he seems to be one step closer by starring in what looks to be a damn fine action movie with one of the best premises I've heard in ages. Jumper directed by Doug Liman who is also responsible for Go, Swingers, The Bourne Identity and Mr & Mrs Smith (but we won't hold that last one against him. Actually, fuck it, I will).

I'm not sure if tells you this at the end of the trailer but Jumper is out on mid-February (Valentines day I believe) and, from what the trailer would suggest, all Tarkovsky, Fellini and Truffaut fans should leave their navel-gazing tendencies at the door and just get washed away in the Lunacy that this film will indubitably be chock full of.
