Anyone remember Test Icicles ?
well if you don't Test Icicles were a band from the United Kingdom, primarily influenced by indie, hardcore and dance-punk, but containing musical elements from a variety of genres they formed in 2004 and broke up in 2006 saying that the band was founded for a joke and that joke had gone too far. In an interview with NME in March 2006, Hynes claimed that "we were never, ever that keen on the music. I understand that people liked it, but we personally, er, didn't." (well quite a few people did like them me included )

Well one of them is back(Devonte Hynes) and has a new album out this month under the name Lightspeed Champion.Lightspeed Champion is a radically different sound to Test Icicles. Taking influences from such bands as Fleetwood Mac and The Smashing Pumpkins, through to Hall & Oates.
