A fundraiser gig for Seomra Spraoi social centre
Saturday January 5th 9pm - Lower Deck

Never heard of Seomra Spraoi?

Seomra Spraoi is an autonomous social centre in Dublin city centre. It is run by a non-hierarchical collective on a not-for-profit basis. It hosts workshops, political meetings, film screenings and lots more. The centre seeks to be a hub of positive resistance, in a city and society where public spaces have been eaten away by consumerism, property speculation and the culture of the car. There Mission Objective: To rock the kids! OR to bring Independent music to those who have not yet reached the age of 18 (without robbing you blind or subjecting you to copious amounts of corporate brainwashing), to spread the DIY ethos and to have fun.

At the start of December Seomra Spraoi was closed down by the Fire Authority. The Fire Authority stated that the building did not meet fire safety regulations and closed the building. So come down to the lower deck on the 5th and hear good music and have a good time and support a good cause.
