The Gatecrasher festival is held this summer in Turweston Aerodrome, Northamptonshire (which is in the UK- yes, I looked it up), and I hereby declare it to be the most dance-tastic festival of the year (and quite possibly of all time).
If you are one with a taste for dancing, narcotic fuelled or otherwise, you could do a hell of a lot worse than spending your May Bank Holiday weekend partying it up here. Just check out this mouthwatering lineup:
- The Prodigy
- Justice
- CSS
- Simian Mobile Disco
- Pete Tong
- New Young Pony Club
- Soulwax Niteversions
- Crystal Castles
- Audio Bully’s
- Does it Offend You, yeah?
- Bloc Party (DJ Set)
- Paul Oakenfold
- Foals (DJ Set)
- Dizzee Rascal (Live)
- DJ Yoda
- Vitallic (Live)
- Boys Noize
- The Chemical Brothers
- Armand Van Helden
- and lots more
For me, that's fairly comprehensive. Throw in Daft Punk & The Faint and I'd be in dance paradise.
Can anyone offer any other additions to this list to make the perfect dance festival?
Weekend tickets are going for around 115 sterling by the by, and can be picked up here.

just off the top of my head
Somehow I knew Kraftwerk would be top of your list.
Agreed on all of em (especially Stevie) but haven't heard of M83.
They're not necessarily top of my list just the first ones to come to mind.
M83 are fantastic. In my mind a cross between Air and My bloody valentine.
You know what. Just for your benefit I'm going to do a music post for them.
