Most Serene Republic are coming to Whelans on the 28th of May. Which is a very good thing, as Most Serene Republic are AMAZING.
Having heard nothing of their material, I caught their Crawdaddy show about a year ago and was completely blown away. The performance was fantastic- a stage packed full of band members , each one giving the songs absolutely everything on an eclectic mix of instruments.
Their debut album, Underwater Cinematographer is well worth checking out; as, I'd imagine is their recently released sophomore effort, Population, which I'm off to buy now.
