Japandroids (JPNDRDS) are a two piece band from Vancouver, BC.Japandroids was formed in 2006, and is comprised of Brian King and David Prowse. Originally intending to be a trio, they decided to forgo having a specific lead singer and share vocal duties.The name Japandroids came from two other band name ideas: Japanese Scream (from Prowse) and Pleasure Droids (from King).
