Mitt Romney has dropped out of the race for the Republican Presidential nomination.
Being no fool, he realised that he didn't stand a chance of winning, and would only steal precious attention away from fellow Republican John McCain (you know damn well where that link goes), whom Romney reckons has the best chance of beating the Democrats.
This leaves both parties with what's essentially a two horse race. Except that in the case of the Republicans, 'Crazy' Mike Huckabee's horse is lame. And crazy.
