Nice little trip down Nostalgia Avenue with a list of the 50 Greatest TV shows Ever voted for by Empire readers. No doubt there's some clangers (Sex and the City a better show than Quantum Leap?) but some under-rated classics are given the respect they deserve (Firefly and Spaced place higher than some more obvious ones). You'll have no problem guessing what the number one is before you get there but the list is a diverting read for about half an hour.

This, like most '...of all time' lists is a pile of pooh. Fawlty Towers at 28?? Father Ted at 36?? Fucking Lost at 5 ?!?

Lost is an awesome show and time will tell just how awesome it is. You're just pissed because your idea for a show, "Life of Rob" wasn't commissioned based on its overtly paedophilic undertones.
