Antony asked his friends the Wachowski Brothers to work with him on a video for his new single "Epilepsy is Dancing". They in turn invited painters Tino Rodriguez and Virgo Paradiso to create costumes and a mystical environment and choreographer Sean Dorsey and his dancers to bring the dream sequence to life. Antony's artistic partner Johanna Constantine stars as herself in the role of "Deer Monster". The video was lit and shot by the up-and-coming directors of photography, Chris Blasingame and Banker White, and produced by Jim Jerome. The production team collectively named themselves AFAS.

Fashion labels seems to have developed quite a knack of convincing decent musical acts to soundtrack their shows, the latest artists recruited being Antony and the Johnsons. The New York band have written a new track entitled Falling Shadows for Prada's fashion week, which can be checked out below:



If that's the mellow side of fashion, Dior Homme have gone the other way by commissioning Justice to soundtrack their Autumn-Winter 09 show. In typical fashion, the Justice lads delivered a storming epic with beats meeting screaming guitars. Entitled Planisphere, the track runs at nearly eighteen minutes, and here it is in it's entirety courtesy of Ohh! Crapp:

I'm not really a fan of Antony Hegarty- Antony & the Johnsons don't really do anything for me- but his new project Hercules & Love Affair seems pretty good. It's a million miles from 'the Johnsons', with funky bass and disco beats.
